Meet Kristen Hardin LPC
I have been helping women and men of all ages and life stages work through issues and achieve their goals through private counseling since 2012. I earned my master of science in counseling psychology in 2009 from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas, and upon graduation, I completed a 3,000-hour internship. I worked for five years in an outpatient clinic which included facilitating group and individual counseling and supervision of other counselors and counselor interns.
I use several different therapy styles, most commonly solution-focused brief therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I provide both short-term and long-term care with problems ranging from adjusting to a new life challenge to living with a serious mental illness, like bipolar disorder. My current practice includes many clients who are working to achieve balance through boundaries. I am not currently taking on new child/adolescent clients.
When not working, I am at home probably enjoying good coffee -or good wine- and managing a busy household that includes two boys and a husband and a lot of toys in the floor.
I look forward to helping you on the next step in your journey! Reach out today if you are ready to get started or if you have any questions I can answer.
Be well,
Kristen
